OUR SERVICES
Printing
Our offset press experts manage your project with precision and extreme accuracy on our multiple Heidelberg offset presses (2-, 4-, 6-color). The digital department offers various services with our HP Indigo equipment, including short-run colorwork and wide format printing.
Union Printer
When a union bug is printed on a product, that product has been marked as a representation of a labor union’s work. As a proud member of both the Allied Trades Council and the Teamsters Local 3, Journeyman Press employs union workers who are highly-trained and ultimate professionals.
As a Union printing company, we are committed to ensuring our production employees are compensated fairly, including benefits. We ensure our employees have a long-term sustainable future and provide the safest possible working conditions.
Sustainability
Eco-friendly manufacturing is vital to us, and we’re proud of our environmental record.
Throughout the shop, we’ve established a tightly closed-loop process to minimize waste and use green materials when available. All solvents and printing inks contain the highest recycled and recyclable content possible; we also utilize soy-based inks and a water-based printing process. We recycle paper waste, and all paper purchased uses recycled/recyclable fiber whenever possible.
Binding and Finishing
Journeyman offers complete in-house bindery and finishing services and is continually investing. We can die-cut and emboss, glue and laminate, mount easels, and finish books with Wire-o®, plastic spiral, GBC, and perfect binding. We can also apply UV or aqueous coating and varnish in-line.
Color Specialists
You get higher print quality—faster, and your print materials will be consistent job after job. There are under 50 in Massachusetts.
Mailing and Fulfillment
I’ve enjoyed every project I’ve worked with Journeyman on—and there have been many! From business cards to magazines, marke]ng mailers to do not disturb signs (and everything in between), I know I can trust Journeyman aAen]on to every detail along the way. They’re hands-on and care about the products they put out.
